Leaders On Board
Congratulations on your decision to volunteer on a nonprofit board of directors! Our nonprofit partners are looking for individuals like you who are committed and passionate about issues that exist in our communities.
To be referred to a nonprofit for board membership, there are three steps you must first complete:
1. Complete the application
2. Attend a new member orientation
3. Participate in an Express Match
You will get an introduction to board membership at our required one-time new member orientation. Orientations are held once a month. After you have completed the orientation, you will be eligible to participate in an Express Match.
At the Express Match, you will have the opportunity to talk to nonprofit representatives from up to six organizations in different service areas. Each of you will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about each other. At the end of the event, where there is mutual interest, a referral will be made.
